Rotundo éxito Seminario Distrital D-4370 de la Fundación Rotaria en Caracas

Este miércoles se realizó el seminario de la Fundación Rotaria en el Hotel Eurobuilding en Caracas. Desde la 4 de la tarde cuando se iniciaron los distintas mesas de trabajo en el salón Topacio de dicho Hotel, el Distrito se lucio con una asistencia de mas de 80 socios de mas de 15 Clubes. Las mesas con 7 temas de la Fundación y una rotación de 3 veces culminaron a las 7 de la noche. A las 7:30 PM el Gobernador Thomas Hacker inicio sus palabras de bienvenida a los asistentes de la segunda parte que fue la cena conferencia donde el Coordinador Regional de la Fundación Rotaria para la Zona 21-A, José Manuel Herrero quien nos mostro  l as metas para el año 2011-2012 y las metas logradas del Distrito en el ultimo año. Finalmente llegaron a este Seminario Distrital 105 socios rotarios. El Club con mejor asistencia porcentual fue el Rotary Cafetal quien se llevo el premio de este evento (100 pinesEnd Polio Now). También asistió el Rotary Curacao representado por Lawrence Bennett. Este Club recibió el reconocimiento de mejor Club en contribuciones a POLIO. Los jóvenes de Interact y Rotaract nos acompañaron y presentaron sus distintos programas de recaudación de fondos, entre ellos un libro de Venezuela en 5 Idiomas y brazaletes End Polio Now. El Rotaract fue representado por Robert de la Cruz.

District D-4370 Rotary Foundation Seminar in Caracas a great success

 

Wednesday, July 13, Rotarians participated in the District Rotary Foundation seminar in the Hotel Eurobuilding in Caracas. From 4 pm different working desks were initiated in the Topaz meeting room of the above-mentioned Hotel, with a District assistance of more than 80 Rotarians from more than 15 Clubs. The working tables had 7 topics of the Foundation and a rotation of 3 times culminated at 7 p.m. At 7:30 PM Governor Thomas Hacker initiated his welcome words to the attendees of the second part that was followed by a dinner where the Regional Coordinator of the Rotary Foundation for zone 21-A, José Manuel Herrero showed us the Foundation goals for the year 2011-2012 and the successful results of our District in the last year. Finally, 105 Rotarians came to this District Seminar. The Club with highest assistance percentage was Rotary Club Cafetal who took the award of this event (100 pins End Polio Now). Also in assistance was Lawrence Bennett from the Rotary Club of Curacao. This Club received the recognition of the highest Club contribution to POLIO. The young people of Interact and Rotaract accompanied us and presented their different programs for the raising of funds, such as a book about Venezuela in 5 Languages and End Polio Now bracelets.  Rotaract was represented by its District Representavive Robert de la Cruz.
